Nikki Setzler, Danny Scott, and Richard Chewning founded Setzler, Chewning & Scott in 1977. The three attorneys were all sole practitioners who worked closely as respected colleagues before merging their practices.
Mr. Setzler and Mr. Scott renamed the firm Setzler & Scott, P.A., when Mr. Chewning was elected by the South Carolina General Assembly to serve as a family court judge in 1996.
Joe Vasquez became an associate in 1993 and a partner in 2000. In 2017, Michele Parrish joined the team as an associate and a partner in 2021.
Originally located on Platt Springs Road, the office moved to 1708 Augusta Road in 1980. The firm completed construction of its current office at 1708 Augusta Road in 2003. Setzler & Scott, P.A., provides clients with helpful driving directions to the firm.
